HP LP3065 is the latest addition on the high-end 30″ monitor market. Apple, Dell and Samsung all have monitors in this segment, a segment which seems to be growing faster and faster as HP released its contributions not too long ago. But HP has actually managed to squeeze in some broader functionality and better specifications with LP3065. First of all, it has specified its monitor with a broader color spectrum at 92%, something the rest of the 30″ can’t really match up to. Although, Dell did update the specifications for 3007WFP as we earlier reported.
Except from a broader color spectrum HP also offers three DVI-I inputs with HDCP support which makes it possible to use your monitor with many computers. At ExtremeTech they’ve taken a closer look at HP LP3065 and they seem to be really pleased with what they see, the only thing speaking against the monitor is perhaps the high price.
