Kingston is broadening its HyperX DDR3 family with a new powerful series called HyperX Predator. Kingston holds nothing back with a memory kit up to 32 GB and clock frequencies up to 2666 MHz, bus speeds higher than some processors are even capable of.

Kingston HyperX Predator comes with a characteristic blue heatspreader that enable them to reach higher what some processor coolers appreciate, but those who can find room for Kingston’s new HyperX series will have plenty of performance to access.

HyperX Predator will be sold in kits with two or four modules where Kingston uses modules of 4 or 8 GB, which results in each kit having 8 GB, 16 GB and up to 32 GB with four 8 GB modules.

Clock frequencies and memory latencies shift depending on the capacity and number of channels. Kingston delivers memory kits for quad-channel systems from 1600 MHz up to 2 133 MHz, but now it settles for two and a dual-channel system like Ivy Bridge or AMD Bulldozer to make modules ready for clock frequencies up to 2666 MHz (!).

Memory modules operate a voltage of 1.5 or 1.65 volt and gets memory latencies from CL9 to CL11 for the really high frequencies. Complete specifications for the 11 different HyperX Predator memory kits can be found at Kingston’s website. The modules are optimized for both Intel’s and AMD’s latest processor platforms, and ships with lifetime warranty. Prices will start at 50€ for the entry level kit at 8 GB at 1600 MHz, while a 1600 MHz kit at 32 GB will cost around 300€.
