Hyundai S90D is a 19″ LCD monitor which offers some nice surprises both when it comes with the specifications and the design. First of all Hyundai has specified the responce time at extremely low 1ms which should be enough. The A-Si TN-based TFT panel has a contrast ratio at 1000:1 and a resolution of 1280×1024 pixels. Paired with both DVI-D and D-Sub video inputs the specifications is nothing to be ashamed of for a 19″ monitor. What might be standing its way, or perhaps make it even more popular?, is the design of the monitor. Hyundai seems to have added a certain bling-bling factor its S90D model.
It has paired the black shiny manitor with a “white iPod” foot and the foot and have integrated the controls for the monitor. The main attraction here is a blue ring around the surrounding navigation buttons. We sincerely hope that ‘the blue ring of light’ is not shining constantly because it would be hard to imagine anything more annoying.
