Monitor maker iiyama has achieved two of the most hip features with its new ProLite monitor. It has announced a 21.5″ LCD monitor that foremost sports 1920×1080 pixel resolution. With full High Definition 1080p video support it has still managed to reduce power consumption substantially to 24W when used. You can combine this with 20,000:1 dynamic ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness.
Iiyama E2210HDS(-B ) sports 2ms access time (GTG) and ships with 2W integrated speakers. Audio and video can be transferred through the HDMI input, but there is also DVI and D-Sub (VGA) output for other sources. The price tag is set to $280.
