Improve the control stick on your Media Center keyboard

Those who’re using Windows Media Center and one of Microsoft’s own MCE keyboards that have been specially designed for Media Center are well aware of the fact the the control stick is any but userfriendly. I’ve heard my colleagues complain about this more than once, it feels like once a week at least, and even if you don’t need a mouse with an MCE keyboard it is preferred as the control stick has its limitations with both function and sensitivity. But it turns that you can actually improve the function of the control stick and it is a modification that is far from complicated. The things needed are a screwdriver, some regular papers and a hole puncher.

The entire modification has been documented (unfortunately in Swedish) by TystPC.nu and even if we haven’t had the time to test this yet it actually seems to work.
