Infinium Labs Phantom – MIA

Infinium Labs Phantom is perhaps not the most famous console to our readers but we can assure you that it is completely understandable. Infinium Labs is a “self-claimed” console manufacturer that for some time now has been working on a gaming console named Phantom. The company and its console became a hot subject when the hardware site HardOCP started digging and found information that indicated that something was very wrong here. They published articles where they claimed that Infinium Labs didn’t really exist as they claimed and that large portions of the finances had more or less disappeared.

 

It culminated when Infinium Labs sued HardOCP that then counter-sued Infinium Labs. HardOCP won and we still haven’t seen a working console from the company. At CNN they’ve published an article on Infinium Labs and its Phantom console. Now it seems Infinium Labs is trouble getting the ends to meet, since it is having a hard time to get the money to launch its console in time. We have a hard time to believe that Infinium Labs is a company to take seriously and we honestly think that they will have a hard time to offer anything that neither Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony can do better. We simply have to wait and see.
