Intel 945P motherboards compared

Intel 945P is hardly the most talked about chipset on the market even if it actually is one of the most sold. 945P is mid end chipset and hardly something for computer enthusiasts will even look at. At Anandtech they’ve tested three different mainboards based on this chipset and admits that they weren’t especially excited about taking a closer look at the three 945P-based boards. However this opinion shifted a bit as Intel’s chipset does what it is suppose to and it does it really well. But at the same time they see a weak link in the Pentium 4 architecture which perhaps is more of a bottleneck than the actual chipset.
