Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 is the new mystical processor that has started to appear on Intel’s roadmaps for its new Conroe family. Intel has as you know launched this new architecture and the introduction model today is Core 2 Duo E6300. With dual cores running at 1.86GHz, with 2MB L2-cache and a 1066MHz bus it’s a real high value processor which you can find at about $175. Now it seems that Intel will trump this model with a real budget catch. Core 2 Duo E4300 has, just as the 6xxx series, two cores equipped with a shared 2MB L2 cache. The processor works at 1.8GHz through a 800MHz bus, where the latter is supposedly the only drawback of the new processor, when it comes to the performance.
Accordng to DailyTech E4300 will also lack support for VT and vPro, but when it is launched during the first quarter of 2007 it will be at a very competitive price compared to E6300 today. Conroe and the Core architecture seems to be coming from all around us in various shapes and appeareances.
