Tweaktown is touring Taiwan and beside experiencing the culture it has managed to grab some pictures of the coming quad-core processor code-named Lynnfield. This processor will later be known as Core i5, Intel’s powerhouse of the mid-range segment. On the pictures posted, found below, they compare it to Core i7 and the canceled Havendale, which also meant to become a part of Core i5.
According to sources the processor is expected to be released around September, about the same time as many are expecting the arrival of Windows 7.
