Intel launched Broadwater 965 chipset the second quarter of 2006

Intel continues to build further on its 9xx series of mainboard chipsets and we have already reported about the coming 975X chipset which is a high end such. Intel has a couple of new chipsets coming for the less demanding segments of the market and the new series is called Broadwater. Intel 965 is the name of the circuits we will see when they arrive and in this series of chipsets we have three different 965 circuits and one low end 963 circuit. P965, G965 and Q965 all support DDR2-800 and 1066MHz processor bus. The things that separates the three are among others that P965 doesn’t have an integrated graphic circuit which the other do.
