Intel will during the first half of 2006 launch a new Xeon processor for blade servers and the really interesting part is that this chip is based on the Pentium M-arcitecture. The new processor has been developed codenamed Sossaman and will max out the heat dissipation at 31W. This is almost ridiculous compared to other server-processors and it surely opens up new doors for many Intel consumers. Personally I have to say this is sounding extremely intersting and it hopefully shows where Intel is heading. A future with Pentium M is without a doubt a very interesting one.
