Intel has started to get their new manufacturing process into the works and we have already seen engineering samples of Intel’s 65nm based processors tested. Now it has taken another step before the launch of its new processors. It has namely reopened an old circuit plant in Chandler, Arizona. The factory has been redesigned to an advanced factory making 300mm wafers with 65nm circuits. This is Intel’s second 65nm plant and will make it possible for Intel to make more processors at even lower costsbefore the up and coming 65nm launch. Source: Intel
