The Intel Pentium E series has been rumored to become the new introduction model of Intel’s Core assortment. The rumors have said that it will be models with an 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cache and lower frequencies than the E4X00 series. A user has told us that a British store has listed Intel Pentium E2140. As far as we can tell the rumors have been quite right and considering that the 1.6GHz processor only costs £41,87 ($84/€62) there’s no doubt it is a new introduction model. The official launch can’t be far away now and the question is how many more models there will be.
