Intel snuck out two new processors in the days that passed and in the lead we have the new flagship of the Core i5 family. Core i5-680 is made with 32 nanometer technology and operate at 3.6GHz. This makes it the most powerful dual-core processors from Intel and it sports 4MB L3 cache and HyperThreading. The processor also has an integrated graphics circuit and TDP rating of 73W.
Beside the flagship of the LGA 1156 market Intel also released a new entry level processor for LGA 775. Intel Pentium E5500 operate at 2.8GHz and offers 2MB L2 cache and 800MHz bus.
Intel Pentium E5500 will cost around $70, while the Core i5 flagship, Intel Core i5-680, costs around $300 in stores today.
