Yonah is the manufacturing name of Intel’s 65nm version of its mobile processor Pentium M. At the launch of Yonah Intel will also introduce a new PR system and this will be used both for telling the power consumption and how many cores the processor has. The first figure will be one of the following four letters, E, T, L or U. This letter is the processor’s power consumption. The E-models has the highest consumption and then it follows the order mentioned above downwards. The letter will be followed by three numbers where the first is a 1 or a 2. This is the number of cores. The two remaining numbers will represent the speed of the processor and hopes that this new system will make it easier for consumers and PC builders to keep track of the new Pentium M series.
