PC Power & Cooling is one of the fastest growing power supply manufacturers and this is mainly due to the recent acquisition by OCZ Technology. The guys over at Anandtech had a chat with Doug Dodson, the founder of PC Power & Cooling, and they discuss everything from products to how the company has changed after the acquisition. One of the questions is why no power supplies below 1100W are shipped with more than four PCIe power connectors and 3-way SLI support. The reason is simply because NVIDIA doesn’t certify any power supplies with less than 1100W for 3-way SLI. Even though it’s possible to power such a system with far less than 1100W.
The entire interview can be found over at Anandtech, and it’s quite clear that we will be seeing a lot more of PC Power & Cooling in the future. OCZ’s network is a lot broader and should first of all help PC P&C to establish itself in Europe.
