Terry Makedon is ATI’s driver-guru and the one responsible for the popular line of Catalyst-drivers for ATI-products. Now Terry has been interviewed at Hardware Fanatics, in a long and thorough interview we get to know a lot about developing Catalyst-drivers, what goals they’ve had and what goals they have for the future. They also bring up Linux-development and similar subjects. For developing drivers there seems to be an easy way of thinking, put as much resources in as there is demand. The interview contains a lot of interesting things and we also get to see images of ATI’s driver-testing lab, which undoubtedly is massive.
