Iomega has announced a new portable harddrive designed with both aesthetics and function in mind. eGo has a clean and stylish exterior housing a 5,400RPM 2.5″ harddrive with 8MB cache and a capacity of either 160GB or 250GB. The harddrive doesn’t need any external power as it gets all the power it needs from the USB port. The harddrive also comes with the DropGuard technology to protect the harddrive from drops up to 1.3 meters. The drive is available in two colors, silver or red, and costs ~$130 and $180 respectively in stores today.
