iPod Nano scares mp3 player manufacturers

iPod Nano has taken the flash based MP3 player market by storm and it now seems that several Taiwanese manufacturers doesn’t want to come out and play anymore. Many makers therefore plan to launch harddrive based players the near future so they won’t have to deal with iPod Nano. The big bet for HDD instead of flash is simply because you get more space for your money which makes it easier for companies such as MSI to compete with Apple’s prices. Whether this is a good solution or not can of course be discussed.
