Windows Vista is nowadays a synonym to delays and no one is longer surprised by postponed launch dates or reports about problems with security or such that have to be solved. But now we’re getting close to October when Microsoft is suppose to relase the operating system for the business market and the question on most people’s lips is of course; will Vista be ready for a launch in October? At Winsupersite Paul Thurrott has published an article that tries to answer this question, or at least brings us all up to speed about the status of Windows Vista and how much that has to be solved before an actual launch.

That Windows Vista isn’t ready today is clear and according to Thurrutt there are still a lot of bugs to work out and problems that can crack the best minds.

“Let’s recap. Paul uses Vista every day as his only OS on each of his desktop and notebook machines. Paul has begun screaming a lot and it’s not because he’s taken up an anger management form of yoga. (That’s what Kabbalah really is, right?) Why is Paul now referring to himself in the third person? I can’t remember.”

Despite all this Thurrott believes that Vista can be ready for a launch on the business market in October. But then with a steady flow of updates and patches following it up until the commercial launch in January.
