NordicHardware has in the past reviewed three different SFF systems from Iwill. One of these was the Iwill XP4, which proved to be an excellent choice for an SFF speculator. The Iwill XP4 was an SFF system that was perfectly fitted for both work and basic web surfing. The low price was what became the final decision as it proved to be the cheapest SFF system on the market.
Iwill has also noticed this positive approach towards their XP4 solution and has decided to continue its success by introducing three new units that all goes under the name Iwill XP4-Evo (as in Evolution. Mitsubishi Lancer, anyone?) The only divergence from the previous incarnation, even internally, is its aesthetic design. Opposed to the XP4 that had a rather boring exterior, the new SFFs are more colorful and yet still stylish. Even though it won’t appeal to everybody, I must admit that it definitly suits my taste. For people interested in a price worthy SFF system and don’t require highly impressive graphical performance (XP4/-Evo does not sport an AGP port!), the already good choice has become even better. The price of the new XP4 units is roughly €240, which is a mere €20 more than the predecessors (which by the way is still a good deal).
