KDE4 is a truly anticipated window manager. It has been under development for some time now and we can now report that the first snapshot build has been released. This is of course not intended for regular users but developers, programmers and testers and is suppose to offer a preview of what the new window manager will sport and at the same time make it possible to port existing applications and make it possible to program new ones for KDE4. KDE 3.80.1 can be fetched at KDE’s official website for those who feel eager to try.
