Kingston has now announced a new module of its DDR3 Ultra Low Latency lineup, KHX11000D3UL/1G and a kit consisting of two of these; KHX11000D3ULK2/2G. Kingston has managed to tweak these into running CAS5 at the still rather low frequency of 1375MHz. We were informed back at DreamHack that there would be faster modules coming and that the latencies would improve quite a lot this fall already. This announcement by Kingston actually comes earlier than we had expected and we’re quite glad that Kingston has managed to tweak its modules into this kind of performance. Hopefully the timings will remain low even when you start pushing the frequencies. The module costs $400 if you’re wondering, $800 for a pair.
