Novalux came from nowhere and turned the market upside-down last year. It namely introduced a whole new technology that was far superior to both the LCD and PDP technology; Laser TV. It presented a rear projection TV which through the properties of laser was capable of displaying a vastly superior image quality, when compared to an equivalent TV based on DLP technology. During CeBIT it brought a TV made by Sony using Novalux’ laser technology, and three more manufacturers are expected to launched products using this technology in 2008. We’re really looking forward to these new TVs as they seem capable of raising the bar quite a lot for flatscreen TVs and what we can call good image quality.
