Leadtek sells 7800 GTX cards with higher frequencies

Leadtek is one of the manufacturers that has launched cards based on the new nVidia’s GeForce 7800 GTX-circuit and now it has taken the oppurtunity to raise the standards. It has namely release a new BIOS for its 7800 GTX-cards that increases the frequency to 450Mhz GPU and 1.25GHz memory. A small increase from the original speeds at 430MHz/1.2GHz but still a noticeable one. According to Björn3D this BIOS will also be used with Leadtek’s retailcards and it’s going t be interesting to see if others will follow Leadtek’s example and launch their very own higher clocked version. We have already seen that 7800 GTX has quite good overclockingpotential so there is room for some more MHz.
