Leadtek seems to be one of the video card manufacturers that is ready to launch its incarnation of NVIDIA’s coming super-card for the retail market. GeForce 7950GX2 is expected to arrive at the end of the month in an official launch by NVIDIA and now a picture of Leadtek’s creation has surfaced, Winfast PX7950GX2, seems to be using NVIDIA’s reference design from what we can tell. And to be completely honest we don’t expect any manufacturer to do anything different as GeForce 7950GX2 is already a very advanced card with its dual PCBs and graphics circuits. The price for these cards are still uncertain, varying from source to source, but we can at least conclude they won’t be cheap.
But those who wants to brag about a Quad SLI system this is the only way, that is unless you can get a hold of NVIDIA’s OEM card GeForce 7900GX2. GeForce 7950GX2 can be used in single configurations which then simply gives us “SLI on a board”.
