Leadtek WinFast PX8800 ULTRA – Leviathan is probably the most extreme version of NVIDIA’s latest graphics cards we’ve run into so far. The new graphics card comes with a water block covering the entire card and comes complete with a radiator and pump in one. The frequencies of the card have been raised considerably; 684/2322MHz from 612/2160MHz. The block itself is made from aluminum with a copper base for the GPU. The radiator is cooled by a 120mm fan with PWM control and at full speed it spins at 2500RPM, which is just below 30dB. The pump has a minimum flow of 1.2 l/min, which is more than enough and the water is more or less maintenance-free.
The price was not revealed by the press release, but the card will be on display during Computex at the start of next month. It can be found in stores already though costing just less than $1,000, but then you get the two games Spellforce 2 and Joint Task Force.
