Lenovo looks to become another player on the Android market with the introduction of the LePhone. Lenovo has taken a new approach to physical keyboards with LePhone, as it lacks one, but Lenovo will be offering a dock-like keyboard unit that not only gives the pone a keyboard but also protect the device.
While Google battles China about the censorships of the Internet Lenovo has announced that it will launch its Google Android phone in China in May 2010.
LePhone will sport Lenovo-made applications but the exact functionality and specifications for the phone haven’t been revealed. Later in the year Lenovo LePhone should appear in the USA and perhaps even Europe.
