Sony is hardly the most popular company with the big laptop manufacuters of today, which is hardly a surprise considering that millions of the company’s batteries have had to be recalled by among others Dell, Apple and Toshiba. Now it seems that also Lenovo might be in danger, as information about a Lenovo ThinkPad T42 being overheated and caught on fire at a Los Angeles’ airport has appeared. No one was harmed by the computer but Sony has now announced that it will work together with Lenovo to investigate the subject closer. The fact that the laptop had a Sony-made battery hardly needs to be emphasized.
