If there’s anything that Windows users have been cursing and made fun of, it’s the so called BSOD. Blue Screen Of Death is simply Microsoft’s way of visually displaying an error report when a critical error has appeared. BSOD is thus only associated with Windows and Mac owners have more than once complained about the poor stability of Windows and its ability to paint the monitor blue from time to time. Recently reports of Macs having similar problems appeared. After the launch of Mac OS X Leopard several users have reported that their systems have stopped at a blue screen, similar to Windows’ BSOD.
The problem seems to be related to the upgrade option of the operating system and some users have had the patience to wait for the blue screen to finish, while others have had to reboot and restart the installation procedure.
“Hmmmm. I feel like a windoze user now,” said Doug Mcilvain. I have re-installed and it has been sitting there with a blue screen for 4 1/2 hours.”
