LG skip Blu-ray player for the spring

LG is one of the partners Blu-ray had hoped would launch a player for the format. Now it seems that the rivalry between Blu-ray and HD DVD has become too much for LG and it has announced that it will stop its BD199 Blu-ray player, expected to arrive duing the spring.
