Logitech has now decided to update the already very popular mouse G5. The biggest updates of the new model will be a second thumb button and a significantly higher update frequency over the USB interface; it has raised the previous 500Hz to 1000Hz to further improve the performance. To make the new model even more unique it has chosen to use a new painting technique with two layers of paint that blend and gain new properties during the drying process. This results in a unique and crackled look with each mouse. The “new” mouse will cost $69 and arrive in March.
