Leopard is Apple’s coming operating system, also known as Mac OS X 10.5. As you all perhaps know Apple has a completely different frequency than Microsoft for releasing new operating systems, but that doesn’t change the fact that it wants to launch a new product at about the same time as Microsoft, especially with its upcoming launch of Windows Vista on the retail market. Apple hoped to present Leopard in January before Microsoft had been able to launch Vista, but according to ThinkSecret it seems that the latest build released to testers have too many glitches for a launch in January to be possible, alas.
