Mainboard Mix

Christopher is back from his long trip, and continues with his mainboard coverage and reviewing. First out are these mainboard news:

Hot Hardware has reviewed the EPoX 4PDA2+ Version 2, and it seems to be a feature rich board with e.g RAID 1.5 support.

Overclockers Australia takes a closer look at the new ABIT IC7-MAX3, and uncovers some BIOS problems while overclocking with DDR500 modules. This seems to be something ABIT is actively trying to fix in its BIOS updates, so the problem shouldn’t be left unsolved for long.

AnandTech has posted an article that should be interesting for the really performance hungry people we have here on the site. It tests the Canterwood board Asus PC-DL Deluxe with support for dual Xeon CPUs and also overclocking, though restricted. However, the board left the reviewer with mixed feelings.

HardOCP tests ASUS P4P800S-E Wireless Edition based on the new 848P chipset, boasting with e.g. support for Prescott and WiFi.
