Make phone calls with your iPod Touch

0

With iPod Touch you can connect to wireless networks and browse the web and as many of you know you can make phone calls via Internet nowadays. The company Jajah has taken advantage of this when it developed its VOIP client for among others iPod Touch, which can now be found at Apple App Store. It works just like equivalent PC clients, e.g. Skype, which means you can phone free of charge through VOIP and at a very low cost to regular phones. The advantages Jajah mentions are the same with all VOIP; the low price, especially when calling international. This could turn your regular iPod into an iPhone without an expensive 2-year contract. The disadvantage is of course that you have to have web access.
