Media Center PCs selling poorly despite good conditions

0

Media Center PC and HTPC are different words describing the same product, a computer dedicated to handling digital entertainment. Media Center PCs has loads of advantages compared to e.g. stationary DVD recorders, but Media Center PCs are still selling quite poorly according to a British marketing survey made by Gfk (Growth from Knowledge). The last 12 months only 150 000 Media Center PCs have been sold in the UK while over 2 millino DVD recorders were sold. However the problem is not the product itself. The prices are humane considering what you get and the functionality is very broad, what seems to be missing is marketing. At The Inquirer they’ve dug deeper into the subject and here at NH we will soon publish an article that will show you what you can do with a Media Center PC with the right equipment, so stay tuned.
