We reported at the end of January about MP3 manufacturer Meizu’s latest creation. Meizu M8, or Meizu miniOne, looks like the next of kin to Apple’s coming iPhone and this is most likely not a coincidence. Now it seems that Meizu may very well beat Apple to the market as Apple isn’t expected to launch iPhone until the summer, while Meizu seems to be pretty much done with development of M8. Several pictures of the new player have appeared and things point to that M8 is closing in on the launch date.
The units share both functions and design elements with Apple iPhone and we’re looking forward to a direct comparison between the two multi-functional devices. Apple is probably already agitated with Meizu and if M8 would appears before iPhone, it will certainly not improve Apple’s mood.
