The overclocking records usually floods over us when a new generation of cards has been released onto the market and now is no exception as NVIDIA recently launched its new flagship GeForce 7900 GTX as we’ve seen both Shamino and Kinc perform some really impressive results with this card. One of the records we’ve been dying to see though is the 20 000 mark with 3DMark05, a task that was finally achieved yesterday by the American overlocker known as MickeyMouse. However this record was not performed with NVIDIA’s new flagship, but with ATI’s Radeon X1900 XTX video cards in a Crossfire setup reaching 20 060 points.

The key here has top be the processor though, MickeyMouse’s FX-60 was working at 3658MHz. About 100MHz more than most other FX-60 processors can do under the same circumstances.

Anyhow, a very impressive achievement by MickeyMouse and now we just have to wait for someone to get past 20 000 with 3DMark06, something which will have to wait until the next generation of cards though.
