Microsoft acquires filesharing service

Microsoft has as we earlier reported bif plans for its online services and one step towards this is to let the users handle and share their files in an easy fashion. Therefore it has now acquired a filesharing service called FolderShare. We have earlier received information about Microsoft working on filesharing service similar to BitTorrent, but if this is the same project is a bit uncertain. FolderShare will according to Blake Irving at Microsoft be integrated into Windows Live and is expected to be an important part of Microsoft’s new services.
