Microsoft launched the first Release Candidate of the operating system Windows Vista the last weekend. Windows Vista RC1 will be made more available as Microsoft wants more feedback and evaluations, this will partly be done by releasing the version to its Costumer Preview Program (CPP) later this week. In other words, Vista RC1 will be thoroughly tested by the public and Microsoft is planning to give up to 5 million customers access to the new test version of Windows Vista. At the same time as it now has announced the prices for its new operating system.

The prices will be equal to those of the current Windows XP version and more information about the various versions of Windows Vista can be found at Microsoft’s website. The prices are USD and for the American market, when regional pricing will appear remains to be seen.
