Microsoft gave a positive outlook for 2006

Microsoft might not be the company in the biggest need to increase their income but that is exactly what they’ve done so far. Microsoft’s revenue the first quarter of 2005 had almost doubled compared to last year. The reason seems to that Microsoft has managed to avoid law suits this year. Ealier years they’ve had huge expenses for legal matters and now with less matters the revenue has increased significantly. Also good sales of server software and the video game console Xbox has improved the prognosis. The net winnings for the first quarter of 2005 stopped at 2.56 billion dollar compared to 1.32 billion dollar the first quarter of 2004. Things are in other terms  well at the software titan Microsoft.
