Zune is Microsoft answer to the Apple iPod and even if the software giant has spent a lot of energy in the launch of its first media player, it has been far from dethroning Apple. Microsoft isn’t one that gives up easily and rumors have been circulating about several new Zune models. This time it’s iLounge that has found out that Microsoft has previewed the coming models of the Zune family, revealing more than plenty of what is about to come. We can be more or less certain of that Microsoft will launch a flash-based Zune player to compete with iPod Nano, while at the same time it will update its harddrive-based player.
The new Zune Microsoft has presented has a larger display and even more storage. The more concrete details are still in the shadows and we’re still dealing with rumors. Rumors that have made us very curious to see what Microsoft will come up with to fight Apple’s dominance.
