Microsoft has been in a bothering position ever since 2004 for their monopoly-like business. But its around eight years since the EU-commission started battling Microsoft as we’ve seen the software giant being forced to launch versions of Windows without the Media Player. Now it seems like Microsoft has been forced to retreat even more, and this time it’s about the source code for Windows itself, that competitors should be able to use, in order to develop third-party software. It will probably take a few years before every detail in this matter are solved, but Microsoft undoubtedly has many eyes on them.
