Microsoft has been making hardware in the form of mice and keyboards, plus other accessories for gaming, for some time now. But now NY Times reports that Microsoft is working on starting up its own circuit development for its own testing, but may very well be a way to become more independent before the coming (next) next generation of video game consoles. We hardly think that Microsoft is out to get Intel and AMD, but wants more of an internal alternative to test with, but as the article says; “Like everything that Microsoft gets into, we’re in it for the long run.”
