Mnemosyne – incredibly expensive and complex USB memory

Small preview image

Mnemosyne is a USB memory like no other. The fact that it has 16GB of storage feels like a secondary characteristic with Mnemosyne considering the design concept it really is. The USB memory is made in Milan, Italy, and is shaped like a cube measuring 72x72x72mm. The cube is a puzzle made from solid aluminum and consists of 5 unique silver polished pieces, and one back piece found in the core of the cube, which is the actual USB memory.

To access the USB memory you have to open the cube and that requires all of the pieces to be moved in the right order. Those who are in a hurry for work and about to save its important documents on the memory it is not quite ideal. At the same time there is a bigger problem, the price of the Mnemosyne USB memory that is made by SolidAlliance costs around 1 million yen in Japan, around 10,500USD.

Those who are looking for the rich mans’ Rubiks cube could perhaps be interested, others maybe not so much.
