Playstation 3‘s first controller was a hot topic in the media because of its design; simply a chromed banana. Sony retracted this design and relaunched the old controller, but had of course updated it. Sony had first of all made it wireless through Bluetooth and included a gyroscopic function. Byt tilting, raising or lowering the controller you will be able to control what’s happening in the game. A japanese news site has recieved some more information about the controller. There seems to be some uncertainties whether you will have to synchronize the controller each time you turn off the console, or the controller, but that would be close to incredibly stupid. The most believable is that you will have to an initial sync, and then your set.
What we know for certain though is that the controller’s batteries will not be replaceable, but on the other hand they are good for 30 hours of gameplay on a single 2.5 hour charge. Exactly how many times you will be able to charge the battery or for how long a battery is suppose to last we don’t know.
