Over the last couple of day more pictures of NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX 400 series have appeared and beside detailed pictures of NVIDIA’s reference card there are pictures of prototypes from XFX, which could be the first GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470. The pictures reveal a lot about the size of the cards and a better overview of the beefy cooler responsible for cooling the 3 billion transistors.
This might be XFX’s first GeForce GTX 400 card.
GeForce GTX 480 is in no way tiny, but still shorter than Radeon HD 5970.
The cooler looks sturdy
Not the least the four big heatpipes
