MSI is one of HydraLogix closest partners and will most likely launch graphics card with the integrated Hydra 200 bridge chip for connecting almost any graphics card to another. It has now released a new Socket AM3 motherboard with Hydra support.
MSI 870A Fuzion Power Edition is based on the AMD 870 chipset which also include the southbridge SB850 with SATA 6,0 Gbps support. The motherboard supports all of AMD’s latest Socket AM3 processors, hexa-core Phenom II X6 models included, and has 12 -phase power supply and the regular selection of military grade components. To promote overclocking it has equipped the card with OC Genie and on-boards for start, reboot and clearing CMOS.
Other nice features include dual PCI Express x16 slots, four DDR3-1600 memory slots, USB 3.0 ports and 8 channel audio processor.
The peak is sitll the Hydra 200 bridge chip that allows users to connect graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA or different models from the same maker.
