More and more pictures and information on Intel’s coming chipsets are appearing. Intel H57 first appeared in the form of ASUS P7H57D-V EVO, but now MSI has released pictures of its version of the Intel H57 chipset called MSI H57M-D65, and comes in the shape of micro-ATX. A suitable choice now that Intel has thrown out the northbridge and left more space for other features.
Despite the neat format MSI’s H57 motherboard sports 10 phase digital power supply, two PCIe x16 slots, 8 channel audio processor and MSI OC Genie for increasing clock frequencies above stock.
With the graphics circuits integrated into coming Intel Core i5 and Core i3 processors there is a trio video outputs with D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. Intel’s next generation processor platform will most likely appear in even smaller formfactors and MSI looks to be one who has come a long way in the development.
