MSI released its first Pentium M-based mainboard: 915GM Speedster-FA4 yesterday. The board follows the micro-ATX form factor and is based on Intels 915GM northbridge and ICH6-southbridge, which means that you can use either two DDRI or two DDRII-modules, one PCIe 16x, one PCIe 1x and two regular PCI-slots. The mainbord also has the regular HTPC-features such as integrated network interface, 8-channel sound and, sigh, Intel Graphic Media Accelerator (GMA) 900. It’s nice to see that we’re getting some competition among the Pentium M-boards even though most of them are more or less identical. Source: Digitimes
